Defect Summary:
ON CERTAIN MOTORHOMES, AN INCORRECT 250-AMP GROUND FUSE WAS USED TO PROTECT BATTERY GROUND. THE CORRECT FUSE WAS RATED FOR 300 AMPS. Consequence Summary:
THE INCORRECT FUSE COULD CAUSE SUDDEN LOSS OF ELECTRICAL POWER RESULTING IN THE VEHICLE STALLING OR INOPERABLE LIGHTS INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH. Corrective Summary:
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE 250-AMP GROUND FUSE WITH A 350-AMP CONNECTOR. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT WESTERN RV AT 509-457-4133. Recall Notes:
